Flying in Norway

Well I figured it was about time I posted about some of the Flying I do for Fly UK. So I grabbed my camera and went for my flight across Norway and in the Dash 8. I don’t usually fly this aircraft and I haven’t spent much time on since passing my type rating. Likewise I’ve never really flown in Norway, so I booked a flight to Floro (and the return). The flights in Norway are flown by the newest division, which is based out of Bergen, Nordic initially served 20 international and domestic destinations using 4 Dash 8 aircraft.

So here’s my flight….

Parked on the ramp in the stunning Norwegian sun, with a bit of a wind in the air, the Dash has been cleaned and prepped for todays flights.

We had our flight plan and dispatch papers with 65 passengers waiting  to board. I’m impressed with how clean the aircraft looks in this livery. Our flight takes us up to 21,000ft. I’ve been looking forward to seeing the Fjords.
